
Criccieth is within easy reach of all main attractions in the area, including the magnificent Snowdonia National Park, the the picturesque Lleyn Peninsular, so it is an ideal base for exploring the whole Northwest Wales.
Road Connections:
Criccieth is on the A497 between Porthmadog (east) and Pwllheli (west). The B4411 joints Criccieth to the A487 to the North. The hamlets and villages surrounding Criccieth are Rhoslan to the North, Pentrefelin to the East and Llanystumdwy to the West.
Rail Connections:
Criccieth has an unmanned train station on the "Cambrian Coastline" which terminates in Pwllheli. The train ride from Machynlleth up the coast to Criccieth is one of the most spectactular train routes of the world. Through trains (and connections via Machynlleth or Dovey Junction) to Shrewsbury, Birmingham, Wolverhampton and London-Euston.
